About CMC UK

Ghana Cocoa Marketing Company UK Ltd (CMC) exists to facilitate and improve cocoa trade transactions between the Cocoa Marketing Company Ghana Ltd and its clients across the world. We do this by creating a conducive platform through which our clients interface with us. Our uniqueness is the excellent supply of premium quality cocoa beans which makes us stand tall in the global cocoa economy. Operating with accountability

We are responsible cocoa importers, and sensitive to the countries, communities and environments in which we work, always ensuring we invest back into the communities and people in diverse ways. Since the 2016/17 cocoa session, the industry has seen significant decline in prices. However, CMC UK with its parent organisations (CMC Ghana Ltd and Ghana Cocoa Board) in Ghana has demonstrated the strength of respecting its core values. There are indication of this trend may continue in the short-term but we have the talent and determination to overcome it.

International Cocoa Organization (ICCO):

The International Cocoa Organization (ICCO) is a global organization, composed of both cocoa producing and cocoa consuming member countries. Now located in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, the ICCO was established in 1973.

Federation of Cocoa Commerce (FCC):

The FCC was established to serve the growing trade in physical cocoa. Our aim is to develop a single robust commercial framework for the cocoa market, to achieve contract harmonisation and provide supporting services and education programmes.

World Cocoa Foundation
(WCF):

Cocoa is a valuable crop that is a vital part of cultures around the world, and essential to the livelihoods of 40-50 million people. Learn more about cocoa and the people who grow it.

 
 

The Cocoa Merchants Association of America (CMAA):

The Cocoa Merchants' Association of America, Inc. (“CMAA”) was started in 1924 as the main cocoa trade association. The founding members were importers and end users of cocoa beans in the USA.

International Coffee
Organization:

The International Coffee Organization (ICO) is the main intergovernmental organization for coffee, bringing together exporting and importing Governments to tackle the challenges facing the world coffee sector through international cooperation.

Cocoa Producers
Alliance:

The Alliance of Cocoa Producing Countries (COPAL) is an intergovernmental organization instituted in January 1962 by representatives of the governments of five cocoa producing countries in the city of Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

 
 

Ghana High
Commission:

The Ghana High Commission UK is positioned to co-ordinate, promote and protect the national interest of Ghana within the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.

Ghana Forestry
Commission:

The main goal of the Forestry Commission is to promote timber trade as well as seek investments opportunities in forest plantation, wildlife, ecotourism and other sectors in Ghana.

Ghana International
Bank:
